There are a number of questions that can arise when considering such an investment. What type of land is suitable for a mobile home?
Mobile homes can be installed on 3 different types of land:
On a campsite. This will be the case if you buy a new mobile home and install it on one of the pitches available at our partner campsite:

On a residential leisure park. Opt for a new or second-hand mobile home on clearance and install it in the residential leisure park of your choice.
On private land. Before installing a mobile home on your property, check the legislation in force and contact your local council to find out about the necessary procedures and permits. Certain regulations prohibit the installation of a mobile home on private land without planning permission, but exceptions may be granted by the local council, particularly when a house is being built or work is being carried out. Do I need planning permission to install a mobile home?
If you are setting up your mobile home on a campsite or residential leisure park, no planning permission is required. If you are setting up a mobile home on private land, you will need to apply for planning permission. If the floor area and/or footprint does not exceed 20 square metres, a works declaration is sufficient. If the area exceeds 20 square metres, you will need to apply for planning permission.
What taxes do mobile home owners have to pay?

Do the mobile homes sold come with a guarantee?
New mobile homes come with a manufacturer's warranty of 1 to 2 years, depending on the brand and model selected. Second-hand mobile homes are sold in their current condition and are not covered by a warranty. However, our customer service team is committed to providing you with a successful installation at our three campsites.
Do I need to insure my mobile home?
It is compulsory to take out insurance for your mobile home, and you can choose between a "caravan" policy with no cover for journeys or a "single dwelling" policy. We strongly recommend that you take out insurance against everyday risks such as fire, glass breakage, water damage, electrical damage and bad weather. The cost of insurance can vary from €60 to €200, depending on the type of policy and the insurance company.
If you install your mobile home on our partner campsite, it is essential that you provide us each year with a certificate attesting to the inspection of your water heater by an approved body. This is to ensure the safety and correct operation of the installations on the campsite.

Our prices include the mobile home, its equipment and its terrace as specified on the product sheet. The price also includes the manufacturer's warranty. If you install your new mobile home at one of our 3 partner campsites, transport, securing and connection of the mobile home to the water and electricity networks are also included.
How much does a second-hand mobile home cost?

Use of a mobile home at our partner campsite

Who can come to my mobile home?
At our partner campsites, the owner naturally has unlimited access to his mobile home. You can also give access to your family and friends, by providing the campsite reception before 15 January with a list of those entitled to occupy your mobile home free of charge. Clients of the campsite will also have access to your mobile home if, during certain periods, you have agreed with the campsite to let the management of your mobile home to our RESASOL reservation centre. All these people who have access to your mobile home will also have access to all the campsite's services and facilities, including the water park.
Can I stay in my mobile home all year round?
Our partner campsites are open for 6 to 7 months (from April to September-October). They are therefore not open all year round. You may, however, access your mobile home when the campsite is closed for maintenance or repairs... This access, outside the opening period, is authorised by appointment and only during the day. You are not permitted to sleep in your mobile home when the campsite is closed.
Can I rent out my mobile home? How can I market my mobile home?
You may not make your mobile home installed on the rented site available for subletting for remuneration. Any act of trade or commercial advertising of the mobile home on the rented site is strictly forbidden.
You can, however, entrust your rental property to the campsite and to RESASOL reservation centreunder the following conditions:
- The mobile home must be less than 10 years old on the date of the contract
- The campsite offers a "one-off" service with no guarantee
- The customer informs the lessor of the weeks to be marketed
- The campsite sets a price per week and pays the rental amount less a commission of 30%.
- A sublease agreement, including an inventory, must be signed by both parties.
You can, however, entrust your rental property to the campsite and to RESASOL reservation centreunder the following conditions:

Can I install a garden shed on my mobile home plot?
Only a 2m² flexible garden shed is permitted, on the express condition that it is dismantled when the campsite closes. However, it is forbidden to install a rigid garden shed, or any other rigid element such as a rigid awning, verandas, plexiglass, sheet metal, garden sheds, entrance porches, decorative arches, etc., on the campsite.
